Sweet & Sticky Dry Aged Short Ribs
The perfect tangy, sweet, and sticky short rib recipe. This glaze is full flavored and pairs beautifully with our dry aged short ribs!

STEP 1 (Slow Cook):
Ingredients:
2 packs of LHF short ribs (or 4-5 dry aged short ribs)
3 packs of LHF Bone Broth (or 5 cups of beef stock)
LHF Seasoning
2 teaspoons of smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1 thumb size piece of ginger, peeled & chopped
3 cloves of garlic cut in half
1 to 2 tablespoon of rice wine
1 tablespoon of sugar
Preheat over 350 F. Cut short ribs into small section, sprinkle with LHF seasoning and brown in dutch oven. Put remaining ingredients from Step 1 in dutch oven, heat on stove top until boiling. Put in the oven with the lid on for 3 hours.
STEP 2 (The Glaze):
Ingredients:
2 thumb size pieces of ginger, peeled & chopped
1-2 red chili peppers
4 tbsp of honey
6 tbsp of light brown sugar
4 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tsp of lemon grass paste
Remove from oven with tongs carefully remove short ribs. Discard cooking liquid or save for soup. Add oil to large frying pan and fry ribs for about 6-7 minutes - turning once or twice until golden and crispy.
Add The Glaze from Step 2 to the pan and bubble ribs and glaze together for until the sauce thickens. Enjoy!
